So this is the day/evening. Really its Nov 3rd already. Its been a long day. An eventful one I wish but it was not. It was though election day. No winner has been declared, Bush has the popular vote and a projected 270+ electoral votes. It looks pretty sound that Bush is going to win re-election. Ohio is/was a hotly contested state, so much so that Dan Rather for CBS will not admit that Bush has won there (51% 49%). Its almost like all the news stations did not declare a winner on purpose so their viewer ratings could go up. I ended up watching FOX news another three hours hoping they would announce/project a winner. Four hours later Bush 269 Kerry 242. Why the wait? even if Kerry ends up tying the race at 269 it will go to a Republican House and Bush will win. Or at least I think that is how it works. Watching CBS now and Dan Rather seems to be in denial that Kerry couldn't possibly win. Iowa is stinking close as is Nevada. Bush pulled out Florida this election and Ohio. The liberal media (yes i'm biased) is scrambling to make up some news giving hope to Kerry supporters. Gosh!
Moving on. Geez it snowed today what was that all about? I didn't expect it to snow. What I did expect was to study all day today and well that just didn't happen. I woke up late naturally and ate lunch at McDonald's. I brought my book along to get some studying in and ended up studying two hours, i.e. 2 chapters. Out of 7 chapters that's bad news. So that's okay its only 3pm and I have many more hours to put in at the library, coffee house, school, home --and it hit me I don't know where to study at. So I stayed home watched the opening NBA games, conceded to watching election news and gave up on studying pretty much completely. So I started playing cards online got bored switched to poker and stuff started to happen. My first game through I was sitting pretty with chip lead and the lights started to flicker. The computer turned off and on the lights went dark and everything was calm. So what's wrong with the power going out? Well not too much all in all I still won about $1 while i got blinded out and I got to have a wonderful experience with the roomies. The best thing of it was being outside. Because of the recent and still dropping snow it was bright outside. For some reason other houses around us had electricity--go figure. No our fuse wasn't blown legitimitely we were without power. Well while outside there were bright light green bursts that lit up the sky and gave off a weird soft noise. It was clearly electrical. Unexplainable by me but witnessed by all the roommates it was awesome. Also a tree across the alley was touching and probably still is the power lines and was lighting on fire and sparking and stuff. It was cool especially since no harm will come of it. But geez its been a crazy day. Instead of studying I am currently playing poker and doing quite well I might say--double since i started today. Its basically $20 increase.
Life--yeah its still going on. I'm flatlined, nothing will happen that will get me excited, I'm probably in a weird way stressed about the super major test I have tomorrow. I always do stupid things like this where I'll stay up late, wake up tired, not get any studying done and fail miserably. I don't know what to say. Its all cold outside and "dreary" I'm in no mood to be "happy". My mind is blown, I can't hold a thought or learn anything. I'm shot. So what to do? I took some caffeine thinking it would get my mind started up. Its to no avail I'm just wide awake now. Who knows I'll hit the wall pretty soon, putter out lay down wake up do my homework and study like mad. It won't do any good however as I will have reached the peak of my limited understanding. Its hard to be motivated about something you despise. That which I despise is Accounting, that which is despised is my major, that which is despised is what my test is over tomorrow.
Oh geez now the media is splitting up who voted for who. I don't know if this is to shed some good lighting on Kerry or what? There are already questions arising like absentee ballots and exit polls. I have no questions. Now they are talking about colors. I say just declare a winner and make your corrections tomorrow. Its not a stretch to declare Bush. So its late and I'm just ranting now. Good Night, Good day, good morning.
